There are a variety of anti-virus software solutions that our customers utilize for protection. Each solution works similarly in that it receives automatic updates with new instructions on how to locate viruses. Occasionally, these new instructions might mistake Temenos Infinity as malware, which impacts the system performance. To prevent these types of interruptions, Temenos requires that institutions implement the following anti-virus exclusion rules:
For real-time/active virus scans:
- On the Web server, exclude the Temenos Infinity installation folder and all sub-folders within it.
- On the Application server (may be combined with the web server), exclude the Temenos Infinity installation folder and all sub-folders within it. Additionally, exclude the shared network folder (the share path) that stores the logs, documents and backups of imports files.
- On the Database server, exclude the .mdf and .idf files located within the Temenos Infinity database >Properties > Files.
- On the DMZ server (Public Web Server), exclude the Temenos Infinity installation folder and all sub-folders within it
- C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\<version number>\Temporary ASP.NET Files
- On the end user machine, exclude Temenos Infinity's root URL
